Every bar is fermented by hand, in small batches — the herbs can't be rushed.
Most orders arrive in 12 to 20 days. We could air-freight them

What's actually in it?
Twelve Korean botanicals, fermented rather than extracted — which is what keeps them at full strength — then pressed into a solid bar. No water to dilute them, no sulfates to strip your scalp.
No SLS, no SLES, no parabens, no silicones, no synthetic fragrance. Vegan and cruelty-free.
What does it smell like? (honest answer)
Strong. There is nothing in this bar to hide the smell — no fragrance, no perfume, no masking agents. What you're smelling is twelve fermented herbs at full concentration: ginseng, tea tree, licorice root, peppermint. It's earthy, and it's nothing like the shampoo aisle.
Most people stop noticing by the third wash. If we perfumed it to smell like a spa, we'd be watering down the part that works.
Will it work for my hair — and is it safe?
It works on the scalp, not the strand, so hair type matters less than you'd think. Straight, wavy, curly, coily — the bar goes on the skin.
Colour-treated? It's sulfate-free, so it won't strip your colour. Pregnant or breastfeeding? No synthetic fragrance and no harsh detergents — but if you have a diagnosed scalp condition, ask your doctor first.
One thing worth knowing: keep your conditioner. Saebom deliberately doesn't coat the hair, so dry ends stay dry ends unless you condition them.
When will it arrive, and how long does a bar last?
Most orders land within 12 to 20 days. It's not the fastest, and that's the trade we make to keep a bar with twelve fermented herbs at this price instead of double. You get a tracking link the moment it ships.
One bar lasts about six weeks at three or four washes a week. The two-bar bundle covers roughly three months.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Email care@trysaebom.com and we refund you in full — and you keep the bar. Ninety days, no forms, nothing to send back.
Give it six weeks of consistent use first. That's when women tell us they notice.
The Korean approach
It's not your hair. It's your scalp.
Liquid shampoo is mostly water. It's what it leaves behind that flattens your hair.
01
The film. Water and detergents leave a residue that sits on the scalp, wash after wash.
02
The flatness. A coated scalp weighs hair down at the root. That's what thin-looking usually is.
03
The bar. Solid, sulfate-free, 12 fermented herbs at full strength. Sixty seconds of direct contact clears it.
That's the whole idea. Nothing else in your routine changes.
The proof
Fuller-looking hair, week by week.
Real customers. Real scalps. One small ritual.

Straight answers
What people ask before they buy.
Sixty seconds. That's the whole ritual. What does it actually smell like?
Like herbs. Properly like herbs. There's no added fragrance, so what you get is twelve fermented botanicals at full strength — and the first reaction is usually "whoa."
That's the concentration doing its job. Most people stop noticing after two or three washes. Give it three washes before you decide.

Will it work for my hair type?
It's made for the scalp, not the strand — so hair type matters less than you'd think. Straight, wavy, curly, coily, colour-treated: the bar goes on the skin, not the lengths.
One thing worth knowing: keep your conditioner. Saebom deliberately doesn't coat the hair, so dry ends stay dry ends unless you condition them.

Questions, answered
Everything else you might wonder.
How do I use it?
On wet hair, glide the bar along your scalp in sections. Massage for sixty seconds, let it sit while you do the rest of your shower, then rinse. Three or four times a week.
How long until I see a difference?
Your scalp usually feels different from the first wash — cleaner, lighter. The fuller look builds over six to eight weeks. Hair works on its own timeline, so give it the season.
Can I keep my conditioner and serums?
Yes, and you should. Saebom is the missing first step, not a replacement. It deliberately doesn't coat the hair — so condition your lengths as usual, and whatever you already use will finally reach a scalp that's clear.
Why a bar instead of a bottle?
A bottle is mostly water. A bar is zero. Every gram is active, and it gives the herbs a full sixty seconds of direct scalp contact instead of being diluted and rinsed away in ten.
Does it work for men?
Yes. Buildup doesn't care about gender, and neither does the ritual. A fair number of partners end up borrowing the bar.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 336 reviews.
I gave this product one star because what I received did not match what was advertised. The website presents it as a Saebom product made with fermented Korean herbs, but the package was a differently branded product manufactured in China with different ingredients and warnings. These discrepancies left me uncomfortable using it and very disappointed with the purchase.
I switched from Nioxin to this and the difference is insane. My scalp actually feels clean for the first time in years— like a real deep clean, not just a tingle.
My shower drain used to make me cry. Literally.I'm on my second bar now and the shedding has slowed down SO much.I actually enjoy washing my hair again
Three weeks in and I'm already seeing baby hairs along my hairline.I've spent hundreds on serums that did nothing. This little green bar did more in weeks than everything else combined
It worked very well! I really needed the bar to clean my scalp as it's often very irritated and flaky. It cleaned it much better than the many shampoos I've used in the past.
I was very surprised about how easy and quickly it foamed to such a nice rich lather. I’ve only used it once so far so I can’t really give you or judge it anymore than that.
Store owner replied:
Liliya, that's so kind, thank you! We put real care into that first-open moment, so it means a lot. Now for the fun part: give the ritual a few weeks and come back to tell us what your hair does. That's the review we can't wait to read.
Lily, Saebom
My experience with the soap has been positive so far. After massaging it in for a minute or two and letting it sit, it rinses out well and leaves the hair feeling great. Ten minutes after the shower, my scalp has a warm sensation that feels quite pleasant. Curious what will happen in the next months. I have subtracted a star because the box does not say Saebom on it and is not in Korean.
Store owner replied:
Paul, this is one of the most useful reviews we've had, thank you. You're doing it exactly right: the massage, the pause, letting it sit. That warm sensation afterward is the fermented herbs waking up the scalp, and it's a good sign.
On the star you took off, you're completely fair. The bar is made in Asia and the current packaging doesn't reflect the brand the way it should. We're changing that. You spotted something real, and we'd rather you called it out than not.
Come back in a couple of months and tell us what you see. Genuinely curious alongside you.
Lily, Saebom
It took a while to receive my package. My hair looked shiny and smelled great after the 1st use. However too soon to see any results.
Store owner replied:
Jenny, thank you, and I love that you were honest that it's early. Shiny and great-smelling from wash one is exactly the start we want. The part worth waiting for shows up around week six, so come back and update this then, I'd genuinely love to know what you see. Enjoy the ritual
Lily, Saebom
Just received it so have only used it once. My hair feels wonderful. I’m excited to see the results as time goes on
Upon opening my package, the product smelled so awful that there was no way I was going to let those shampoo bars, touch my body. I was very disappointed in my purchase and immediately threw them in the trashcan. Just having them sit in my home made my entire bathroom, smell awful.
Store owner replied:
Leila, I'm sorry, and thank you for being blunt about it.
You're right that it doesn't smell like a normal shampoo. There's no fragrance in it at all. What you smelled is 12 fermented botanicals at full concentration, and it is genuinely strong. Some people find it grounding, others find it far too much. You're clearly in the second group, and that's a fair reaction to have.
What we got wrong is not warning you. Our page never said "this smells like herbs, not perfume," and it should have. We're changing that this week.
I've refunded you in full and you don't need to return anything. Sorry it ended up in your bin.
Lily 💚,

Just got order. Used for 1st time. It lathered pretty well. Need to use a bit more before deciding if I need to reorder.
Store owner replied:
Edwina, that's a fair thing to say after one wash, and more useful than most reviews we get.
The lather does surprise people. But the part worth judging comes later: the bar works on your scalp, and it takes about six weeks of steady use before there's anything real to see. One wash tells you it's pleasant. Six weeks tells you if it works.
Come back and update this then, good or bad. That's the review we'd actually learn something from.

I travel for work every week. This lives in my carry-on now. Airport bathrooms have become my salon.
was skeptical — it's a shampoo bar, how much can it really do? But my scalp feels completely different. Less itchy, less oily, and my hair feels thicker at the roots. Obsessed.
I switched from Nioxin to this and the difference is insane. My scalp actually feels clean for the first time in years — like a real deep clean, not just a tingle.
I have type 3 hair, low porosity and have been using this shampoo bar for almost a month. This for me has been the missing piece to my hair care routine.
Yoracare targets removing buildup on the scalp. Which makes sense. That
“ah ha” moment.
Because of this little green triangular bar, I’ve noticed hair products working how they were designed to.Areas of my head that I had accepted would remain bare, has baby hair surfacing.
