Why it costs what it costs

You can buy a plastic dish for a few dollars. It holds the water underneath the bar, the bar sits in it, and you end up replacing both sooner than you meant to.

This one is cut from a natural block of stone. It will outlast every bar you ever put on it, and it is the only thing standing between a firm bar and a soft one.

Will my bar actually fit on it?

The dish is 12 cm long and 7 cm wide. A Saebom bar is about 8 cm across, so it sits with room on every side, and it keeps sitting properly as the bar wears down and gets smaller.

It works with any bar you own, not only ours.

Won't it go slimy underneath anyway?

On a flat dish, yes. The water has nowhere to go, so it pools under the bar and the bottom turns to paste.

This one is cut with raised ridges. The bar rests on top of them, water runs into the channels below and drains off, and air gets underneath between showers. The bar dries instead of sitting in its own water.

Is it real stone — and will mine look like the photo?

It's a cut block of natural marble, not resin or coated plastic. It weighs 400 grams, which is the fastest way to tell the difference.

Because it's natural stone, the veining runs differently through every piece. Yours will not be an exact match for the photograph, and that is rather the point of buying stone instead of a moulded copy.

How do I look after it?

Rinse it under the tap when you rinse your hands, and dry it with a cloth every week or so. That's all.

No special cleaner, nothing to replace, no part that wears out.

When will it arrive, and what if I don't like it?

Most orders land within 12 to 20 days. You get a tracking link the moment it ships.

If it isn't for you, email care@trysaebom.com within ninety days and we refund you in full. There is nothing to send back.

Cut from natural stone

The bar is the expensive part.

You will buy the bar again. You buy this once, and it keeps every bar after it out of the water.
